How to save on your wedding

Let´s be honest! Getting married is expensive, but with a bit of smart-thinking you can save-up lots of pounds.

- First of all, opt for off -peak season: Getting married from November to March can save you between 20-30% except St Valentine´s day of course.

- Don´t wait too long: A last-minute wedding has been proofed to be cheaper as there is less time to prepare a typical over-the-top celebration.

- Avoid Saturdays: It is the most common day, therefore the most expensive. Friday or Sunday nights are better options and becoming more popular.

- Cut down on your guest list: The more people you invite, the more expensive will be so think twice before sending the invitations.

- Opt for a day-time wedding: Offering a brunch or lunch is always cheaper than a dinner. You can serve a cocktail or high tea instead of a sit-down menu, which besides being cheaper, is very fashionable!

- Location: The ceremony and the catering should be on the same place to avoid unnecessary transportation costs.

- Flowers: Always buy seasonal ones if you don´t want to pay a fortune.
